1. Mixing bowls:

Whether it’s for mixing ingredients, making icing or whipping cream, a mixing bowl is an essential tool to have in any kitchen. Most recipes require at least two, so you will need more than one. Choose from plastic, glass or stainless steel but before buying, think whether you want to put a bowl in the microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer.
